A fight for our family - Journal Entry

It’s been awhile since I’ve written in this journal. Things had been going so well for us. The Jackson Family as a whole has been doing amazing. We helped @CindyLouLouBear get through John’s death and we found out that she is part were. And we’re cousins! Made me so happy when I found that out.
Things have gotten complicated again though. We thought things had settled from CJ’s adoption. That things were all set and we were officially a family. He’s already started calling TJ and I Mom and Dad on his own. And he is the best big brother to Gabby.
Unfortunately things have gotten complicated and we are dealing with court again. Tiffany, CJ’s biological mother, the one who died…her parents are fighting us for custody. They are trying to take him away from us. That is unless we pay them an obscene amount of money.
So far we haven’t had to go to court ourselves, our lawyer has been taking care of everything, but they are pulling out everything they can think of. They are using my past as a stripper. They are using Derrick kidnapping me and TJ killing him. It doesn’t matter that it was as a police officer to them apparently.
We are trying to get through it as a family. TJ and I are trying to keep the kids routines as normal as we can and not let CJ get upset by all of this. We want him to know we love him and are doing everything we can to keep him with us.
He is coming this way now. Will write more as I can but right now I’m going to hug my children and kiss my husband.
~sets the journal down on the chair and runs out after the kids catching CJ around the waist and kissing his cheek~ Come on little man. Let’s go get Daddy and your sister.
